"I know what I should do. I have been here before. I just somehow ended up in the same place again."
I smiled when my client shared that during a coaching session.
Because that was almost exactly what I once said to my mentor, Bob Proctor.
And his reply was one word: Paradigm.
Because while we genuinely want to change, we keep doing what we know we should not do. Like watching Netflix till late at night when we know we should sleep.
Not because we are careless. Not because we did not mean it.
But because there is a programme running inside us — a habit so deeply worn — that it takes more than intention to shift it.
It takes discipline.
And in a world moving this fast, with 101 things competing for your attention, that discipline is genuinely hard to maintain.
